That question has been on my mind and I am trying to figure out the best way to answer it?? Well let's look at it from a consumer side first. If you need to buy something, if it is a small ticket item or a big item such as a car, you still need to buy it. As a consumer you are going to choose to make your purchase from whoever comes to mind first, weather it is the company you hear on the radio, the place with the banner that says sale or the truck you saw with lettering on the way to work that morning. The key here is that the consumer is going to make the purchase, why not from you?
It is really elementary how to get the attention of the consumer. Make sure you come to mind first!! Too many times when business is slow, business owners don't market. How can you expect to make more money if no one knows you are still open or what you are offering. A customer cannot buy what they do not know is available?? The old adage that you have to spend money to make money is never been more true then it is in this economy.
If a customer walks into a business and they don't have product to sell and there isn't any signs of life there, why would they buy from that business when it looks as if they won't be around?? How can you prevent this, it's a very simple solution really, keep inventory where it needs to be and market to draw in new and existing customers. Ponder that for a while and I will cover more later!!
